Columbia River
The Interior of British Columbia Canada offers some of the most beautiful, bio-diverse and most delicate biology in Canada.
This photograph of the Columbia River system one of those places. It is also one of the largest river tributaries in North America as well as having a large number of Hydro-Electric dams along its course, this adds to the importance and sensitivity of this fresh water source.
I had the privilege in early fall to spend the whole evening along the waters edge, to take in the rivers great power and beauty. Erosion on the rocks surface has smoothed over thousands of years from the constant water rushing past, which I feel gives this photo the feeling of age and time passing.
I focus stacked this image to help create a greater depth to the mountains and clouds in the background.
Enjoy the sunset.. I did.
